HI!!! Sorry, this is another depressing journal entry, and it is again about my brother. I know I am so bad for not writing posts that are art related, although it kind of is… anyway you’ll understand… hopefully, I’ll try my best. My brother, he is just out of control. Let me start with what took place tonight, (26/11/09 at 21:30). My unofficial step father came into the room. (Oh My brother, Daniel, who is 15, and my not-step father, Tony, who is about 39 HATE each other), so Tony told Daniel to get off his chair, Daniel rudely refused, so Tony grabbed Daniel by his jersey and pulled him up, Daniel hit Tony in the head and Tony hit Daniel… they continued in the altercation, knocking everything over, falling to the floor, Tony with a black eye, bleeding nose, my brother with scratches on his face and neck. Tony falls to the floor and doesn’t get back up. Daniel stands over him, proud and yells; “You got tozed (beaten) cunt.” Tony yells at my mum to call the police, he gets up and calls the police, Daniel then left the house. >.<

So yeah, Daniel beat up Tony pretty bad, but left him alone once Tony was on the floor. If you have read previous posts, you’ll know that this behaviour from him is not out of the ordinary. He is now smoking marijuana and I have my suspicions he is dealing it. He also associates himself with gangs, he has been arrested before for breaking into cars and he has had two trespass notices (from Pac n Save supermarket and The Plaza, which is the town shopping centre) for shoplifting.

Now to the part that is related to art, I am writing a short story based on my brother called ‘The Rouge Hero.’ Which I may or may not share on DA… Should I? I am just wondering how much detail to include in the story… in a way my brother is a hero. He is always loyal to his friends and is very protective of me and his family and friends.

Ultimately, I think I just needed a forum in which to vent my frustrations… and also to ask for any suggestions on what to do with him… I just don’t know what to do, I have tried talking to him passively, trying to understand him, listening to him. I have tried to offer him help from myself and from outside help (like councillors and friends, people who have been in his situation). Nothing, he is just getting worse. Suggestions? Comforts? Anyone? Haha.
